A few weeks ago we took a much needed family vacation to escape the winter and enjoy the warmth of a sunny destination with Sunwing Vacations. So many people recommended Memories Splash and the Royalton in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, so we decided to take advantage of this opportunity and we were so happy we did!
As a child growing up, my mother work for an airline company so we visited the Caribbean often. Places like Barbados, Jamaica and Florida – all of which have wonderful sites and beaches to escape the winter blues. Each place can tell a story rich in culture and history.
Our experience in Punta Cana did not disappoint! The beaches in were spectacular. Sugary-white sandy beaches and the most beautiful blue ocean water you can imagine!
So much fun for the kids as well with an amazing waterpark! Both the Royalton and Memories Splash share this amazing waterpark as well as other amenities such as a beautiful spa, gym and lots of pool side activities!
We stayed at Memories Splash – The rooms were clean and comfortable and each one has its own private balcony. We spent a lot of time at the Royalton Punta Cana to enjoy the beach and nightlife. So whether you were at the pool or laying oceanside, it was, quite simply, luxury! We even saw a wedding on the beach!
