Sugar & Spice and Everything Nice…
My favorite Christmas cookies to make are Sugar Cookies simply because you can be so creative and make them look beautiful and delicious! Good Housekeeping magazine features more than 60 yummy treats for the holidays but to get you started I have included the recipe – so start frosting!
RECIPE:
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1½ c. sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- Frosting (optional)
- Decorate with coloured sprinkles, sugar crystals, silver balls, and other holiday decors (optional decorations)
